In Terry Pratchett’s discworld novels, there is this creature called the Ambiguous Puzuma. They’re the fastest animal in the world, but often die from the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, because they cannot simultaneously know who they are and know where they are, and hence they die.
And yes, you’re right, that joke was funny.
