This was fascinating: A photographic list of all the bodies in our solar system that are larger than 200 mi in diameter. By the way, I particularly like the name of the objects beyond Neptune: “Trans-Neptunion Object (TNOs)”

    A cool picture, but probably part of the alarming bias against Pluto as a planet. :)

    But they didn’t include my favorite astroid…..
    243 Ida and her sattelite Dactyl. (the only known astroid to have its own sattelite)

    Ida is no longer alone in being an asteroid with its own sattelite. For example 121 Hermione (no - it’s not named Harry, Ron or even Crookshanks).

    My 10 year old has memorized the 50 states and their capitals. I have no problem making him learn 100 planet names. Of course, i’ll have to learn them too.
