I am currently developing an online course in College Algebra for Wayland. The hope is to have a series of video lectures, accompanied by a lecture notebook where the students will fill in the book as they watch the lectures. Below is a sample video from on the series.

    Nice job, and it looks like a cool idea. How many lessons are you going to do, and are they all about this length?

    Also, what kinds of gear are you using to make the screencast and do the handwritten annotations? I just applied for a grant to buy screencasting software and one of these to make screencasts for precalculus and calculus, kind of along the same lines as what you’re doing.
