List the tools you can’t live without:
- The Internet, Google, in particular. There is a motto in our family: “No question goes unanswered.” Especially not with a wireless network at 4 computers under our roof.
- Precision screwdriver kit: the best for digging into the inner workings of a broken down cpu.
- Thumb drives: How did we ever live with 1.44Mb floppies?
- TI-86: My current calculator of choice.
- My nifty pen:
How about you guys? Any tools you can’t live without?
1. The letter opener with the broken off end that has lived in my desk for the past 13 years. There is nothing in the office, including the toilet and the a/c system, that can’t be repaired with it.
1. Back in my college days, I’d say my navy blue dress shoe. It came in handy when tacking our illegal cable around the closet doors.
2. The DVD remote control. This handy little tool has the power to make crying cease.
3. The apple chopper. If you know of a simpler way to split an apple evenly among 4 people, I’d like to hear it.
